Handicap 2009/2010 overall results This year's Handicap was a little strange in terms of statistics - although fifty members of the Club competed in the Series at one stage or another only seven people managed to do three races to count and, for the first time since we began this format, no-one completed all six races. However, at the sharp end the competition was notably fierce and the results in doubt until the last race, when the ancient cunning and skill of George Scott triumphed and he ended up eight points clear of Rob, with Andy Butler in third place - congratulations to all three of them. It was nice to see the Club Handicap Trophy, which was first awarded in 1984, refurbished, updated and presented to the person who restored it to its former glory - thanks George and thanks also to Andy Butler, whose handicapping was spectactularly efficient and, as a result, has landed himself a job for life !! In addition, thanks are due to the organisers of the six races for their time and efforts - without the races we wouldn't have a Series. Hope you all enjoyed yourselves and we'll see if we can have a few more completions in 2010/2011. Dave Jones
