Pennine Winter Handicap - 2009 / 2010 - Race Two
Saturday 21st November 2009 - Glossop

Starting at 09:30 hours from the little roundabout at the east end of Shepley Street, Old Glossop. GR 046 948, and finishing at the same place!

Please visit the Checkpoints in the order given. Route choice between checkpoints is anybody's guess! Hopefully it will be very misty and possibly a tad snowy! There will be a spotter on the course so no cheating!

Maps will be provided and will contain the checkpoints, the boxes to be punched and, on the reverse, the detailed descriptions of each checkpoint as printed below.

Please remember this is a bit of a Tuffy, 9-ish miles & 2000 feet, so come prepared with suitable full body cover gear, whistle and sustenance.

The Junior race will start immediately after the last Senior runner has left - probably
about 11.15-ish.

As usual, adult assistance with the Junior race will be very much appreciated - in fact we can't really run the Junior series without it, so your presence will be most welcome.
Post-race Relaxation and Presentation of Junior Certificates will be in the Queen's Pub at the west end of Shepley Street.
