BAFFLED BY A BAFFLER!

At the new year hut meet at Hartsop we did a special race called a baffler. It baffled us! We ran it in pairs like this;

The biggest ran with the smallest, the 2^nd biggest went with the 2^nd smallest & so on. Here are the pairs:

Annie, Hannah&Sarah

Jamie, Matthew

Jim, Emily

(Hannah was helping Sarah.)

We stood back to back with our partners and when the starting man said “GO!” the oldest children ran counter clockwise and the youngest children ran clockwise till we met. Then we swapped the baton and ran as fast as we could back the way we came.

The pair that finished first won.
